Title: Sparerib Crown Roast Kala Emi-Hawaii

3lbSpareribs
2tbSoy sauce
1 1/2tsSalt
3cCubed bread
1/4cMelted butter
10 Water chestnuts, chopped
1cn(9 oz) pineapple tidbits or
  Fresh
1/4cPineapple syrup (or juice)
1/2tsGround ginger or
1tbFresh ginger minced
1/4tsPaprika
3/4cChopped prunes

Have spareribs cut in half length wise. Rub with 1 tablespoons of the soy sauce, sprinkle with 1 tespoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Skewer ends together to form crown. cut a circle of heavy duty aluminum foil. large enough to extend 2 inches on all sides of the roast. Place roast on foil in shallow baking pan. Combine remaining ingredients and remaining 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon salt. Turn stuffing into center of crown. Bake at 350 deg F. for 1 1/2 hrs or until done. serves 3-4
